  • Do I need to be fit to start?

    Absolutely not. That is exactly what we’re here for - to get you fit, no matter your starting point. We’ve had everyone from complete beginners (this has been their first ever gym and fitness experience) right through to competitive sports people. Just start no matter your level.

  • Do I need any experience?

    No experience needed. We meet you at your level. Our intro process ensures that we know exactly what that is before you start sessions and workouts. We’ll give you appropriate movements and workouts and you’ll also have a better understanding of why we’re giving you certain things in sessions.

  • What do the training sessions look like?

    Our main group classes are structured and planned out so you don’t have to think of a workout for yourself. That’s our job. Group classes include a mixture of resistance training and bodyweight movements to improve strength and cardio machines to improve stamina and endurance. All classes are 60 minutes and are coach led.

  • I have an injury. Can I still join?

    Absolutely yes! Our job is to make healthy humans that function well. We’ve helped lots of people through injuries through a mix of group training and 1-2-1 coaching. We pride ourselves on coaching and we’re sure we can adapt our training to your needs and capacity.

  • How many times a week should I attend?

    For most people who just want to improve their general health and fitness, we’d suggest 3 x week. It is also on a very individual basis. We all respond differently to training so start slow and go from there.

  • Will I fit in at Gusto?

    Our motto is ‘Live A Fitter Life’. This is the ultimate goal of our members. They want to feel healthier, fitter, stronger and more capable in their everyday life. Our members want to be coached, want to learn and want to have fun. We’re sure you’ll fit right in.
